I always enjoy walking across this bridge. The sights of the city contrast starkly with the greenery surrounding the river bank. If the weather is good you can find a lot of boats and yatchs around too.
The pedestrian shoulder is quite wide on either side and it is very safe to walk across. Good for a morning run or even a slow walk into DC.

Not the most exciting to cross, as most of its beauty imo, is observed from the shore. With that said, the handrail is attractive in design and color. Pedestrian walkway is separated from roadway.

A great spot to watch the 4th of July fireworks. It gets crowded, so come early to stake out a spot, but probably not as crowded as other viewpoints around the city!

It's hard to get to a spot to view it. Walking across it is nothing too special.

Pedestrian walkway is clean and wide. Road traffic during peak hours heading towards DC is crazy but moves smoothly. Beautiful view of Georgetown University, downtown Arlington and a nice place to catch a glimpse of fireworks on Independence Day.
