Really great view of the Potomac River and the old structures of the covered and railroad bridges. Great little park to pack a lunch and maybe read a nice book. The history on the monument about James Rumsey is also rather interesting. Lots of lantern flies for those that doing their part like the Mobile Infantry of the United Citizens Federation.

The Ramsay Monument is a stone obelisk, pierced by three oval apertures on an arched base The monument is in a very quiet area. There are only three parking spaces and a one disabled spot. It's a nice place to take photos. We saw the train pass by. The park overlooks the Potomac River.

Beautiful view, picturesque spot, parking near by, cool historic monument, and nice picknick table available.

Free park with beautiful sites of bridges, riverfront and view of beautiful Maryland landscape from the WV side. Good mix of sunny and shady seating. Short trails that circle back to the park and to the Collusion Park which has a great selection of playground equipment for all ages. Parking is limited and no restroom facilities seen.

I walk here almost daily and it’s so fun. There’s this huge rock near the wall and you can climb on top of it . It’s so fun to watch the trains go by then run to the train tracks to see it up close. Also just looking at the water is so fun. And also, it is so fun to take pictures sitting at the monument and then when you get bored, you can walk to the playground and relive your childhood. There’s a bunch of spotted lantern flies sometimes so that’s just the only bad thing
