If you are even close or on the fence, this is a must see. I was a bit skeptical before we got there but it was strongly recommended. I must say, I was taken back. My 15 year old son and I spent 7 hours there and feel like we didn't see half of it. Amazing place to visit, it is on top of my go back to places. The history and the realism is out of this world.

Lots and lots of history. The best part, museum is free to visit and runs on the money spent in sovereigns shop (found the shop expensive). Very clean and well maintained. Be prepared to get bags checked and going through the metallic detector when you enter. Tons of exhibits. Educated, well behaved and alerted staff. They gave is answers to the questions we had in mind. Overall great experience and a must visit if you love history and curious about wars and weapons. Its a huge exhibit so make sure you have at least 2-3 hrs to completely see the artifacts.

Will definitely be back again, the facility is super clean, we met a man who shared numerous facts about the museum and the incredible detail that goes into every display. We did not get to watch the movie in the theater however we will be back! The parking lot is big and free however when we were leaving it was getting pretty filled up.

This has been one of the most impressive museums I've ever seen. The interior design, the organization of the exhibits, and the architecture of the building itself are simply marvelous. From the moment you enter, the staff is incredibly friendly, and in each area, there are well-trained personnel who explain things or answer any questions you may have. I spent two hours exploring the exhibits and left completely amazed. I have to go back with family and friends to experience it again.

I came to know about this world class museum from ChatGPT. Planned a visit recently and honestly 4 hours was not enough for me. The exhibits were setup in a linear manner full of visual and interactive details explaining the evolution of the marine corps till today. I really loved the fact that they had these fighter jets, bombers, helicopters and other war Aircrafts all over the building and made use of the space so well. They had some cool vehicles, artillery and huge tanks as well. Each exhibit was well organized and you will get to see specific details, events and facts which you cannot find easily in history books or educational YouTube videos. I was personally super impressed by the artificial war zone setups with audio effects in the Korean war and Vietnam war exhibits. All the youtube videos I had watched suddenly made so much sense and was relatable. And finally, the guns. This is where you can find some of the coolest, biggest and most powerful guns during each era. Each exhibit had numerous displays of muskets, rifles, pistols, revolvers, heavy machine guns, snipers, ARs, LMGs, SMGs, rocket launchers, grenade launchers etc. You can find Soviet, German, Japanese and Chinese weapons too that were seized during war. I was thrilled to find some of the guns that I have used in PUBG Mobile such as the Thompson SMG, the AK and the Chinese version of the Soviet DP-28. The biggest moment was probably when I found a quote by Carlos Hathcock, a legendary marine sniper. I have watched videos about him and knew about him. Make sure to check out the museum store and also take a stroll through the Semper Fidelis memorial if you have time. It was such a lovely place really well setup and gave me a calm and pleasant vibe. I walked through the beautiful pathways covering the entire memorial and paid my respect for the sacrifices of the great people. I would recommend a whole day here.
