Enjoyed a beautiful fall Sunday afternoon. Walking paths were wide open...so nice to see all sorts of visitors enjoying the natio al park. I live near the Williamsport C&O headquarters and had never been this far south. We will definitely be coming back!

Nice trail and boardwalk to the water falls over look. Stunning Panorama view of the water fall. Boat ride is seasonal.

The view is worth the hike! Be aware that many pet owners do not clean up after their dogs even though there are bags available to use. $20 entry fee. 🧾 Definitely bring water to stay hydrated. I enjoyed the sounds of nature. 🏞️

The falls are beautiful and a sight to see. You can stay 30 minutes or spend a couple hours depending on what you want to do here. This park is for all ages.

Great place and hidden gem!
Getting yearly passes off season was a hardship, but worth it. The staff on the Md side were much, much better than the Va side. The Md side has the amazing trails and views going across the wooden trail to the island overlook.
On the Va side, the overlooks are good views, but rocky and annoying. Plus the Va staff were extremely rude.
What a beautiful place all around, though, with waterfalls, rapids, bike trails, canal and overlooks.
