I booked a private lesson with Belle Haven Marina, and it was a fun, safe and memorable experience! Highly recommend! I have some experience sailing but my skills were rusty and I have never been out on a Flying Scot or sailed in the area. I was so glad to have Ethan helping me out and sharing his knowledge with me, especially when the wind picked up! I will definitely sail with them again. Thanks!

The folks running it are top notch, the boats are maintained in great condition, when you arrive, the sailboat is fully rigged and ready to go.

Staff was friendly, kayaking rental rates were very reasonable and on line reservation process was easy. Heading north out of the marina was very scenic. Woodrow Wilson bridge and 2 bald eagles up close! A nice, relaxing and safe way to spend a couple of hours during the week.

For the last 9 years, I have thoroughly enjoyed renting and sailing Flying Scots from Belle Haven Marina. It's a great place to quickly get out on the water - no need to join a club, or take proprietary classes, or commit to a full season. Just make a reservation and hop aboard. That's what I love about this place. Also, they allow dogs on their boats!
