Great place for fall colors and enjoying nature! Hike to the summit is short and a little steep, but good for an afternoon adventure.

Short but moderately difficult hike, depending on which view you’re accessing. The trails are well maintained and it’s a beautiful area. Definitely worth it.

Sometimes parking can be tight and the online schedule isn’t always correct about when it is open, but besides that good trails, some nice places to do free climbing. And overall good view with an easy to do hike.

Use WAZE and not Google Maps to get here! I hadn't been here in ages and used Google... the road was closed and not marked on Google maps. This is private property, and it is recommended to give a $5 donation when you enter. This is a pack-in, pack-out park. Leashed dogs are permitted. Maps are available for hiking trails, which range in difficulty, but there are easy hikes available. Keep alert, as there are both copperheads and timber rattlesnakes in the park. If you can't hike, you can drive through the park and enjoy the scenic overlooks. Parking is only permitted in the parking lots, which is ample on weekdays. The park closes at sunset, and any cars left in the parking lot at sunset will be towed.
