Run do not walk! When approaching from the highway and once in the harbor the first thing you'll notice is the phenomenal lighting, be it a really nice color scheme or some cute hearts in the center - it's dope!
The Capital Wheel is such a great experience for children and adults of all age. The views of the Potomac, monuments, National Harbor and surrounding areas are spectacular for both locals and visitors. If you're looking for an even more unique experience - book the VIP, the glass bottom view & leather seats are a huge wow factor. All cars of the wheel are sure to provide a great experience however.
There's also a really cute bar located behind the wheel which I believe you can enjoy without riding the wheel. It sits right on the water and has cute little bonfires to keep you warm in the winter.

I was really disappointed with this ride. It was a weekday so no people there except us. No line no wait time. I saw some people coming, taking pictures and leave. Still i was hopeful to try it out. The amount of time you are up that's reasonable but I didn't find it to be amazing. No amazing view whatsoever. Its just some water n buildings that's it. When I was in myrtle Beach ⛱️ I took a similar wheel ride n the views were mesmerizing. I know its not a beach here but still. What really pissed me off that after the ride I saw an advertisement on board that says there is a package of $35 for 2 people and you get a digital photo too. But i paid $40 for the ride and $5 for parking and I wasn't even notified about this. They should've told me about this if there is something available like it.

Totally worth it. Me and my family had so much fun, we could not stop laughing the whole time. Although it was because we were all nervous because it is really high. Staff was professional and nice.

Being back to a place I lived for some time was refreshing. Taking the family for our first ride on The Capital Wheel was just another memorable family vacation and really a great time of year to visit and see the lights as well. Another 🎡 we can check off our list.

Great experience! Amazing views and good armosphere. Fair prices. We were a family of four so we got the package with the picture for the two adults and the kids entrance and I think it was a great choice!
