James was amazing! Great knowledge about the canal and its history. He talked to us for a while about history and was very personable and great to talk to. Highly recommend a stop here.

Nice place to bike, run or just to take a walk. There were people fishing as well. It's nice to also see the history with the lock and the C&O canal

The visitor center was a nice place to stop. Plenty of benches and restrooms. Seems to be a very popular stopping point where you can share your ride experience with other rides. Also plenty of close places to eat only minutes away from the trail.

The canal is a beautiful place at all times of the day. Walking, running, hiking and biking are just a few things that I love about the canal. There is a boat slip great fishing in the canal along with the power plant dam. So much history around each corner. Incredible place to do photo shoots especially in the fall. Just a great place that costs nothing to gain amazing memories for a lifetime.
