Either side of Great Falls is wonderful. The Virginia side has a bigger Visitor Center but the Maryland side has the Billy Goat Trail along the old canal. Be there way you can't go wrong on either side of Great Falls!

Great natural park along the Potomac River with long trails and beautiful views.

$20 at the gate but so worth it! Absolutely stunning views, with easy to walk, mostly shaded path. Could only take my dog on certain trails, because there are endangered animals within certain areas. Please be respectful of these precious eco systems!! Wonderful day!

Lovely hike with stunning views. Not the hidden gem it was in years gone by. Very crowded but most folks just rush right through the trail. Many illiterate people testing they're intelligence by ignoring the barriers and warning signs. Glad I didn't witness any mishaps.

It's beautiful place, excellent to hiking, biking ( Saturday and Sunday the have free rental bicycle from 9 to 4) the environment is so beautiful, perfect for family, couple, friends excursion, walk with your dog, make some exercise, make a picnic, the parking is $10 per car or for get in is $5 per person. Is really beautiful.
