Friendly and clean water taxi to Alexandria from the Wharf. Only 5 passengers on a Thursday at 11:45am-nice to have an uncrowded boat experience.

We wanted a tour of the monuments at night on the upper deck. The upper deck had benches on the sides as well as folding chairs in the center. The chairs were comfortable. The view of the monuments was a little further away than we had hoped. Purchasing tickets was challenging. We wanted one way tickets from Georgetown to Alexandria as we were told that was the only tour with the upper deck and view of the monuments. The website was very confusing for purchasing a one way ticket; we called the number on the website and waited on hold for quite awhile. The representative offered to help us purchase tickets over the phone, but my husband wanted to wait until we saw the actual boat. We were told we could purchase tickets at the boat, that was not posted on the website as an option. It would be even more helpful if the sign at the pier had a QR code to purchase tickets. Overall, while it was frustrating getting tickets, we did enjoy the cruise and the view. And the crew was very helpful and accommodating.

Fun way to see DC from the water. Takes 2 hours round trip from Georgetown to Alexandria. Book one way or varying times to return. Seating inside with AC and outside in the breeze. Crew is professional. Beer and wine onboard. Bathroom onboard.

Great staff and fantastic time to relax and great photo opportunities. Front outdoor seating as well in the back of the boat. Beer and wine plus beverages are available.

If you are staying at National Harbor, this is THE best way to get up into the DC area. No stress! Was great to take in fresh air and sunset.
