Absolutely breathtaking. There is so much wildlife to see and the flora is amazing. I can not recommend taking the twighlight hike enough. Andy is supper knowledgeable and an awesome guide!

Skyline Drive is gorgeous. Lots of places to pull over and enjoy the scenery. 3 visitor centers to get information and see exhibits. 4 campgrounds, though none have RV hookups, a lot of sites are level.

Absolutely stunning national park. So close to DC but feels like a world away! Great hikes and delicious meals at the lodges. Plenty of wildlife and gorgeous flowers.

For something a bit more adventurous, the Bearfence Mountain rock scramble is an absolute must. This hike is short but exciting, with hands on climbing that makes you feel engaged every step of the way. Reaching the summit is incredibly rewarding, offering panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains that stretch endlessly in every direction. It is the perfect mix of challenge and payoff.

Then there is Big Meadows, which brings a completely different kind of beauty. Wide open and tranquil, it is the ideal place to unwind. Whether you are walking through the fields, sitting quietly, or just enjoying the stillness, there is a calm here that feels almost timeless.
