Alexandria-Georgetown Monuments tour: This was, without question, one of the worst sightseeing cruises I have ever experienced. At $44 per person, I expected a professional tour vessel and a quality experience, as advertised on the website where a yellow vessel appears photographed. Instead, what we got was a boat that looked like it was worth no more than $10.
The vessel was old, dirty, and visibly rusty. Seating consisted of cheap folding plastic chairs that felt completely inappropriate for a paid sightseeing tour. The boat itself looked more like a neglected work barge than a tour vessel.
The engine noise was so incredibly loud that it was nearly impossible to hear the tour guide's narration. We paid to learn about the monuments and sights along the river, but all we could hear for most of the trip was the constant roar of the motor.
The boarding process was equally disappointing. Passengers were left standing in direct sunlight with virtually no shade. Elderly guests and young children were visibly uncomfortable while waiting to board. There also appeared to be no handicap-accessible boarding options, making the experience even more frustrating for anyone with mobility challenges.
Safety was another concern. Life jackets were not readily visible or explained, which did little to inspire confidence.
For $44, this experience is simply unacceptable. It felt less like a sightseeing cruise and more like a cash grab. The company should be ashamed of charging premium prices for such a poor product. If you want to see what a modern, environmentally friendly, well-designed sightseeing boat looks like, visit Denmark, Norway, or Sweden. There, you'll find vessels and experiences that actually justify this price point.
Save your money and look elsewhere. This company is severely overcharging customers for an outdated, uncomfortable, and poorly managed operation.

The views along the way to Washington were absolutely gorgeous! 🌊 You could spot the Capitol Building, planes gracefully landing at the airport, and even the Navy base. 🛬⚓ Every moment on this route felt like a postcard come to life! 🛥️✨

Enjoyed my trip to Georgetown and back. A fun way to spend an afternoon and spectacular views of many of the Washington monuments. The narrated tour was very clear and informative. I especially loved the aircraft flying into Ronald Reagan airport right above our heads. Good value for money and a great way to see Washington from a different perspective.

My wife and I had a great experience. We took the water taxi from Alexandria to Georgetown had dinner in Georgetown and then returned as the sun was preparing to set.

My husband and I wanted to take a ferryboat ride while we were visiting in D.C. last weekend! I looked up reviews for the different options, and this company stuck out to me. We decide to get a one-day pass for about $30 each and we were able to ride the ferry all day from Georgetown to Alexandria, to the National Harbour, to the Wharf in D.C. and back to Georgetown! All of the staff were very nice and informative, and one even held the ferry for us when we were running late back from site seeing!! I would definitely recommend this company!
