Visited Featherstone National Wildlife Refuge and really enjoyed it. Peaceful trails, beautiful wetlands, and great for spotting wildlife. Perfect place to disconnect and enjoy nature for a bit!

It's definitely a refuge for wildlife, with no clear entry point into the refugee on foot. There is one marked trail (small signposts) that you can get to by bushwhacking from the Rippon VRE station. Otherwise it's entry via kayak or small boat only.

Took the kids on their first natural walk here, We don't get out much as we live on several acres of our own "wildlife refuge" but enjoyed the different scenery for sure, we even got a glimpse of a fox!
