Beautiful historical church one of the oldest in St. Mary's County. Built in 1785 this Roman Catholic Church has a still in use balcony and original pews.

It's the oldest Catholic parish in English-speaking North America. The interior has been preserved from "the spirit of Vatican II". Very historic, very cool.

What a pleasant & unexpected surprise. I was the only one there for more than an hour. Refuge and relaxation. So very quiet. c1785
