It seems like a good university. However, I applied and got accepted for the fall semester and they wanted me to pick classes for the summer semester. Secondly, I submitted my high school transcript when I applied, but they keep saying I didn’t submit it. Finally, out of state tuition is almost $70K a year, NYU doesn’t even cost that much. So no thanks, I’ll be attending University of Edinburgh via online instead because 1) they have a law program 2) it’s a fraction of the cost compared to this university.

Georgetown University, anchored by the iconic Healy Hall at 3700 O St NW, is consistently characterized in my professional and social circles as a premier crucible of global diplomacy where a substantive Jesuit heritage seamlessly integrates with high-level international discourse. From numerous insightful dialogues with local policy influencers and successful alumni, it is merytorically evident that the institution provides a high-caliber, intellectually rigorous environment, frequently lauded by my acquaintances for its exceptional ability to bridge the gap between ethical philosophy and real-world political application. It is truly heartening to observe how the university maintains such a transparent and respectful dedication to the "Cura Personalis" principle, a quality that the broader community recognizes as a vital catalyst for the profound sense of civic duty found in its graduates. Many people I know personally emphasize the school's sophisticated synthesis of historic prestige and a forward-looking, globally-relevant curriculum as a distinguished hallmark of academic excellence. Ultimately, in the collective view of informed D.C. residents, Georgetown stands as an unrivaled pillar of intellectual and moral leadership, rightfully respected for its elegant ability to shape the next generation of global visionaries.

This review is on the campus and walkability of Georgetown University, not the academics, which are indisputably excellent. That said, the campus is a bit worn and in need of some renovations. It’s on a hill so you will get your exercise if you walk here. The buildings are almost all brick with forgettable architecture. Of course the nearby city of Georgetown is lovely and lively so there’s that.

Beautiful campus well maintained. Although old it still has many modern buildings and they are always improving. Lots of history there. No subway stop at the campus but nonetheless is worth going over there. Campus bookstore is huge.
