Very nice and relaxing.

We rode the ferry in April, 2015, while on a bike ride in this area of Virginia. The ferry operator was very nice. The trip was short, but a fun way to get across and continue biking.

What an absolutely beautiful surprise, but to see an active ferry, STILL in operation!!!!! For the love of God (s), etc. please keep this historic ferry operating and operational.

It's a free ferry ride

My family is from Northumberland County. I would visit in the summer growing up, and ride the ferry. Every time I get there, I still ride the ferry. Brings back childhood memories.
