Always inspiring to walk through the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial. The quotes are great to read and reread on each visit. He did so much for this country and whether is winter / spring / summer or fall - a still through this memorial is always uplifting.

The Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial is one of the most beautiful and serene memorials in Washington, DC. The combination of waterfalls, stone architecture, quotes, and shaded pathways creates a peaceful atmosphere along the Tidal Basin. It feels much more immersive and calming than many of the other memorials nearby. Definitely one of the most underrated spots in DC and an easy 5/5 experience.

June 2026. The FDR memorial was a surprise along the way from King to Jefferson. I appreciated the artistic flow of the stone and water, telling the story of the 4 presidential terms.
