This was a nice space. Really great way to make use of the area under the bridge which otherwise would just be a patch of mud and pavement under a highway. That said the main area is essentially a big parking lot, but there was a nice breeze and it was a good space for outdoor training. There are public restrooms available as well

A great park on the Potomac River with access to lots of trails to all / hike / jog. A little snowy this visit but a good amount of paved walkways. Park includes the Jones Point Lighthouse as part of its pathway. Bathrooms are available under the overpass area. Also cool looking Wooden Rudder from WW1.

This is a really nice park. I have been here twice so far and both times I truly enjoyed walking around. I had no idea that all this was here, hidden underneath the Woodrow Wilson bridge and kinda just stumbled onto it the first time. I am so glad I did. There’s nice walking trails, a big open field, basketball courts, playgrounds, nice places to fish and even historical stuff like a big ship rudder DC Boundary Stones and an old lighthouse. Also despite being underneath the beltway it’s quite peaceful. I definitely recommend checking this place out.

I think this is a fantastic spot in Alexandria. It’s always easy to find parking, and there’s a quick, pleasant walk right along the waterfront into Old Town Alexandria. The views are beautiful, I absolutely love this park, and there’s also a restroom available, which is a big plus.

Amazing nature — a river on one side, a forest on the other. Walking trails, bike paths, fresh air, and breathtaking views. A romantic atmosphere blended with history. Definitely worth visiting often! For more, you can follow miss.alexandria.aura on Instagram.
