My bestie and I went to see Moulin Rouge. Such an amazing experience but make sure you leave an hour for parking. I had to loop around 3x to get to the right place to park and DC traffic is crazy. But do it. The venue is amazing.

Beautiful facility however the temperature inside was way too hot. The concessions were a bit over priced for what you got. Also, yo should still accept cash. Going cashless isn't a good idea. If you don't believe me read the article Dvae Ramsey has on how bad things are and will get by going cashless.

This gorgeous performing arts center has long been a place to go for top tier operas symphonies and also free to the public concerts and performances. And the new structures have learning centers and space for cutting edge performance, art and dance. Unfortunately, in summer of 2026 the main building has been shut down and political forces have made it so that the Opera and symphony and other core classical arts are no longer part of the Kennedy center. I can only hope that they return and that when they do the beautiful structure is still in place.
Also, the restaurant at the top of the Kennedy center has beautiful views and delicious food.

Took the Metro into Foggy Bottom and right out of the station was a FREE shuttle to the Kennedy Center. Was warmly and delightfully greeted by Deborah H. at the National Hall (?) who helped me navigate around the Center. I would have never stumbled across the gift shop, Kennedy museum and cafe on my own and would have struggled to find the box office. She and the Moulin Rouge show receive a standing ovation. Deborah really made my day so extra special. It was like a fun little angel showed up to help me when I really felt like I did not have it in me to do all of it alone. I feel so blessed!

Waited until after the narcissist's name was removed. Great opportunity to revisit. Enjoyed a wonderful program at Millenial Stage: Emerging Artists
