A nice place with good food and wonderful service. We went here for our anniversary. The views of the Potomac River are beautiful ! You can order off of the menu or a small seafood buffet. The food is good, but this time, on this day, the buffet was not kept up as far as seafood choices. The one thing we went here for, which are very good, were the crab cakes. It stayed empty. The fish was the same way , or down to the bottom. We decided next year to get a platter instead. The hosts and staff could not be any more friendly. Then a huge crowd of children came in. We had 2 tables surrounded by children, at least 12 or more at one table and 2 more behind us; there was clearly enough room open to space the people elsewhere. It was not relaxing at all. We left and didn't take in the views as usual. We come here each year on our anniversary and this was the first time we were in a kiddie cesspool. One person apologized for the lack of help. But, all in all we had a good time. Everything was good, but I will make better choices and choose from the menu next time.

Clean place with fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced food. The salad buffet is outstanding, with plenty of fresh options, and the cole slaw is absolutely fantastic. What really made the visit special was our server, Julie. She was kind, fast, funny, attentive, and incredibly patient throughout our meal. Her excellent service made an already great dining experience even better. We highly recommend Wilkerson's Seafood Restaurant to anyone looking for great bite to eat.

First time stopping in. First impression on walking in: super tidy and clean. Greeted graciously and escorted to a great view of the river even though I was eating by myself. Water promptly arrived. Everyone around me was enjoying their food. Loved that there were so many types, ages of diners and saw evidence of folks being friendly and helpful to folks around them. Food was great just as described and expected, no surprises, except for the extra touches: a lemon wedge for oyster sandwich, basket of warm hush puppies, extra iced tea. Made me smile when some ice spilled behind the server prep and everyone laughed and helped clean it up(speaks to a happy work situation). And did I mention the super clean windows? That takes attention to detail and extra work.

The homemade hush puppies that came with our drinks were included & delicious! The seafood was fresh & cooked perfectly. Will definitely go back!

The reviews seem decent for this location and it was busy for lunch. But I can not get past the horrible rockfish sandwich I was served. It tasted like a strong mud fish. Two bites in and I was honestly sick for the rest of the day. The wife's fried fish was ok, but nothing was worth giving it a decent review. The location is straight out of the 70's with a view of the river.
