This is a very quaint venue. We are here for a family event. The hospitality and facilities are great. We had dinner in the dining room. Our waitress Kimmie was very accommodating with our wine choice and assisting us with gluten free options. Food was good. The accommodations are spacious and clean. My only complaint is the strong odor of the cleaning product in the vestibule outside our room and in our room.

Great location to spend time exploring some of West Virginia, but hotel doesn't have the polish or hospitality industry standard that is typical with a resort at this price point. Lots of lack of attention to detail.

Bed was a king, but has three across standard size pillows not two king size pillows, as if the bed is set up for three people to use? Odd. Also very firm spring mattress with a low/mid sheet quality, which is fine for a hotel but not the typical at this price point.

Light bulbs are all daylight white color, not the hospitality/home standard of a more calming 3000k warm white, even bedside. Felt a bit institutional at night when trying to wind down.

Fairfield inn style AC unit, not an integrated system, which is fine - but usually not seen at this price point.

Pool had no seats available, and heard a child ask their parents why they could not stay at the hotel tonight... So some visitor enforcement might help the crowding issues. Positive touch having sunscreen and aloe available and super friendly staff at the pool bar.

Room view if booking a Potomac view also feature a nice direct highway view with associated noises if looking straight out, down and left if outside you see the river.

Restaurant ratskeller had nice charm and a musician playing for a great ambience paired with very good food, absolutely a great spot. However, this was a stark contrast to the cold, quiet, stale feel to the main dining room.

Overall, would visit for the ratskeller dinner, but don't recommend a stay for $350+.

We couldn't have chosen a better venue for our wedding than the Bavarian Inn! From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless. The staff made the planning process so easy, kept us on track every step of the way, and took care of all the setup and teardown so we could truly relax and enjoy our day.

A special thank you to Kaitlyn, our wedding coordinator, who was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was organized, responsive, thoughtful, and made sure every detail came together perfectly. We felt completely taken care of.

The venue is beautiful, the food was excellent, and the entire day exceeded our expectations. We received so many compliments from our guests about how gorgeous everything was and how smoothly the day ran.

If you're looking for a wedding venue with an incredible team and exceptional service, I can't recommend the Bavarian Inn enough!

Absolutely amazing place! My husband and I stayed for the weekend for his 45th birthday and omg we are in love. The view is breathtaking. The rooms are nice and clean. There’s an awesome pool. The food/drinks at the restaurant were delicious and every staff member was great. Thank you for such a great experience. Can’t wait to go back ❤️

My family and I recently stayed at the Bavarian Inn, and we truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience.

We had a group of around 20 family members, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us every step of the way. On very short notice, they organized a dinner for our entire group in their beautiful new dining room and even printed custom menus for us, which made the evening feel incredibly special.

A huge shoutout to Sarah, our server, who took care of all of us by herself with such kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. She made everyone feel welcome and cared for throughout the night.

We also unexpectedly needed to extend one of the rooms by an extra day. Even though the hotel was fully booked, the staff still managed to accommodate us and allowed us to keep the same room, which made things so much easier for our family.

Another moment that really stood out was breakfast. Despite us not having reservations, they still kept aside a large table so our entire family could sit together and enjoy the meal.

The level of care and hospitality we experienced during our stay was truly exceptional. My family and I are incredibly grateful, and this is a trip we will cherish forever. We cannot wait to come back!
