Beautiful scenery. The link between Virginia and Washington D.C.

Great on aesthetics, as it looks nice with the distinctive arches. Crossing it in a car can be annoying though, because traffic backs up badly especially going into the bottleneck in Georgetown. Crossing on foot or on bike is also just okay – there can be surprisingly strong winds over the river, and people often pass without leaving enough room despite the sidewalks appearing pretty wide.

I always enjoy walking across this bridge. The sights of the city contrast starkly with the greenery surrounding the river bank. If the weather is good you can find a lot of boats and yatchs around too.
The pedestrian shoulder is quite wide on either side and it is very safe to walk across. Good for a morning run or even a slow walk into DC.

Not the most exciting to cross, as most of its beauty imo, is observed from the shore. With that said, the handrail is attractive in design and color. Pedestrian walkway is separated from roadway.

The architecture on this bridge is quite stunning as is the view headed into Virginia from DC. Love this route and the area, very nice structure!
