My husband and I are a huge fan of English pubs and were excited to check out this one especially because it had a nice patio. We even chatted outside with a friendly customer leaving. However we were denied entry because we had our baby with us.
If you want to be a 21+ bar, fine. But market yourself that way. This should not be labeled family friendly. We attempted to look up hours and business info before we went and there was none available and there was none posted at the entrance as well so this was no fault of ours.
I can’t rate their food or drinks but I can only assume they are dive bar at best since that was the treatment we received from the service.

I love this club. It's not a hotel, although it has a couple of suits. Just a great club.

Stopped in for a beer while shopping around town. Comfortable little spot, they even had some cider boiling over the wood stove. The bartender at Stoneys recommended that we make a stop at the Meck and we're glad we did!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect location, right in the heart of town where you can walk everywhere without having to get back in the car. George was a great host. The place was clean and spacious.

i forgot my ID at home and was going to leave on my own because i realized my mistake, but the bartender randomly told me that i look 12 years old and needed to get out 😭😭 i was going to leave anyway, but now i'm just sad.
kevin and lynn are great, though. they're always super kind and helpful. definitely try to catch them on duty if you're gonna come here. i don't know who the person running the bar last night was, but they need to re-evaluate their words before they insult peoples' appearances unwarranted.
