We stayed at River Riders campground and also did a rafting trip with this company. It was a fantastic experience all around! Check-in was smooth and the people were friendly. The campground was well maintained and the crew was attentive to our needs when we asked for help. We arrived at our site and it was missing a picnic table, but a quick call to the office and they got us a table.

We also did a rafting trip, Jeff was our guide, and he was phenomenal. He was familiar with the flora and fauna of the area and was very accommodating to our group. We highly recommend this operation, especially if you have anybody who’s tentative about rafting or previously had bad experiences; he rebuilt our confidence after a really frightening experience elsewhere.

I think we will be returning sometime in the summer to go tubing or do more rafting with this group.

Went on the whitewater tubing trip when the water was low and the temperatures were high, and we absolutely loved it! Such a beautiful way to spend the day with friends and family while enjoying a little adventure and time on the water.

The staff was friendly, organized, and the whole operation ran incredibly smoothly from start to finish. Even as experienced paddlers, we really appreciated being able to relax and enjoy the trip without worrying about logistics or shuttle coordination. Paddling the tubes was a blast and made for the perfect mini adventure. Highly recommend!

What a GREAT few days of camping ! Our last outing for the season. The campground was cheerful (Christmas lights that made you smile ) and the camp host Petey went above what we are used to. He took the time to talk with us and the conversations lead into how the campground has evolved. Being from this area we loved hearing about the growth. On his own time he showed us where to hike and bike when we return. One of the best moments ….when Petey showed us where they moved the cabins and the view was breathtaking. Yes, the trains do run throughout the day and night but never bothered us. The river , geese, relaxation, feeling safe, completely over rides a little train noise. We went to see the Christmas Lights as we wrapped up our stay. BEAUTIFUL!
There are two campgrounds in this area , we have found our new “GO TO” for sure.

Absolute wonderful experience with everyone at River riders! Ryan was a wonderful help getting everything organized for our group, gave us every opportunity to have a great time out on the water. Our River guide Kyle was outstanding with his entertainment and expertise on the River. Could not recommend River riders enough!

We had an amazing time snow tubing at River Riders! Two neighborhood families went together with elementary-aged kids of varying abilities, and every single person was able to participate and have fun. Even the adults had a blast. We rented a fire pit, roasted s’mores, and enjoyed hot chocolate, which made the experience even better. The facility was clean (including the bathrooms), and even though it was busy, the lines moved quickly and everything was very well organized and streamlined. Highly recommend for families and groups!
