We embarked on a scenic walk from Arlington National Cemetery to Chrystal City. Our journey took us through Lady Bird Johnson Park, the Navy and Marine Memorial, LBJ Memorial Grove, the Boundary Channel, the Pentagon, Potomac
Heritage National Scenic Trail, Gravelly Point, and finally, the Chrystal City Water Park. The walk is approximately 5 miles and mostly consists of an easy, flat terrain. It’s an excellent way to relish the beauty of a pleasant spring day.

My favorite walking and biking trail in Alexandria.

So much fun we decided to take the Mount Vernon Trail from the Lincoln Memorial to Alexandria, Virginia. We rented E scooters and E bikes. The trail was near a highway for parked but once you get closer to Alexandria, it was off the highway and near the Potomac. Even near the airport

Beautifully maintained historic site. Guided tours are very informative, and there are interactive exhibits about Washington’s life and legacy. Great for history enthusiasts and families alike.

nice, mostly shaded with trees, biking/walking trail. watch out, it can be pretty bumpy with cracks in the trail
