4th of July-2026. The tickets were purchased on site. No wait other than waiting for an available carriage. In a 100 degree day, the young ladies and gentlemen were diligent in their duties. The carriage was air conditioned. The music was cool. And the wheel went around 5x. A free downloadable picture was included too.

Even though $18 may sound expensive for a Ferris Wheel, the price makes up for it as you get exhilarating, breathtaking views of the National Wheel and at least 5 rounds. The employees were nice and the ride was very smooth. I’d definitely recommend checking out the Capital Wheel if you are ever on a date in National Harbor, or with family.

Absolutely stunning experience, you get an amazing view of the bridge and also the gaylord hotel. riding it at sunset would be amazing too. tickets start at $18 for adults and there's different packages too for photos or even a carriage with a glass floor.

The kiddo really wanted to ride. The views aren’t spectacular but it’s a relaxing ride in an air conditioned space. We went around about 4-5x before they let us off. Definitely buy tickets ahead online. You can even use them same day and get the discounts. They advertise this on the signage at the kiosk.
