What a fun cafe and shop! Beautiful setting and so much to see. Though we didn’t eat here, the food smelled and looked fantastic, and the restaurant area is so cute. The antiques upstairs were fun to browse. The exterior is colorful and so fun! Excellent stop on our travels.

An incredible breakfast and a true walk back in time. Great nostalgia and awesome staff. So glad to see this place is open and successful, a great place to take the kids, antiques as well as a wonderful breakfast.

Kids had a blast, super kid, friendly. And the food was amazing. Our server Elaina was amazing as a new general manager, checked on the several times to make sure everything was exactly as we expected. And yes, it was perfect.

The atmosphere was cute and kitschy but it fell short everywhere else. The service was extremely slow and took around 40 minutes to get our food. We thought it would be a somewhat quick stop off the interstate but ended up putting us 1.5 hours behind schedule.
My husband ordered pulled pork nachos that came with an egregious amount of lettuce. We had to pull out gobs of lettuce just to find the chips. It was also supposed to come with 3 types of cheeses but there was only 1 type of cheese to be found. Also, the sauce on the pulled pork was so sicken sweet, the more you ate you the sicker you got. The burgers and chicken sandwich was bland and slightly overcooked as well.
Perhaps the food preferences are regional and we just didn’t like the flavor profiles. However, paying $85 for subpar (almost inedible) food makes me a little bitter. And 2 of us ordered water.

Buddylou's is everything I could ever want in a restaurant! The food was SO good, especially the crab fries! I highly recommend them. The atmosphere is so quaint and cozy with every wall decorated from top to bottom with antiques. It is also the most dog friendly restaurant I've ever been to and I absolutely love that! Also, I love how they have their own little ice cream shop downstairs. The homemade butterscotch pudding they have there is out of this world! My fiance and I said we will be craving this on the daily now. I also want to give a shout-out to our server, Jordan, who was just as sweet as could be and super attentive. We can't wait to go back on our next road trip through the area!

It was the atmosphere and the fact that it was a super dog friendly restaurant. The food was mediocre for the long wait for getting it. It's a place to visit for antiques and pup cups for your dog. BTW, the band was good that they had that Sunday.
