BRIDGE REVIEWS
Very good river crossing in the DC area. The opposite ends of the bridge do get crowded during rush hour, but otherwise gets the job done. I've never seen the bridge open, but I imagine it's only at night when traffic is low. The bridge also is a good pedestrian crossing of the Potomac river. Overall good bridge! 9.57/10

Very old historic bridge. With beautiful views of the Potomac on the left and right side, there is a walking path to go across to Maryland. Beautiful place

Excellent Views and Trail Design
A great walk from National Harbor! Even on a 47° day, the views were stunning. The trail is thoughtfully designed, and the Maryland side has lots of interesting plaques to read.
Heads Up: The traffic noise on the Maryland side is significant (a constant whine/buzz). Wear noise-canceling gear. The sound wall on the Virginia side is a game-changer—it's noticeably quiet and peaceful over there!

First time on the bridge and it was a great workout! I thought it would be scary because it’s so close to the highway but it was great! Nice level of elevation clear walkway. If you want fresh air and to skip the gym this was great went the whole way. I walked it took 1 hour to from the ranger outlets to the end in Virginia it’s about 3 miles long!

Jolly old Bridge. Delightful from below, even more delightful when taking you where you need to go.
