Such a large and great memorial. Walking around the fountain area you can see each US state and territory with its own column and wreath. The backdrop of the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument are just great.

Not all the monuments in DC are a must see at night but WWII is a must. After a long day around the National Mall, there absolutely nothing more peaceful than sitting with your feet in the pool (which according to signage on site is highly encouraged) while marveling at Washington and Lincoln monuments while avoiding the crowds that build up during normal tourist times.
