This is a must visit when in Washington. It's definitely a sight to behold. Although the pool area leading up to the monument was undergoing renovation, so that was a bummer interms of the full view, but still a great view nonetheless. Walking up the steps is a bit of a hike, but again, well worth the view. The architecture is stunning. We went on a very sunny day, so it was very hot, but still enjoyable nonetheless.

Visiting the Lincoln Memorial was an absolutely incredible experience—one that truly stays with you. The monument is massive and made of beautiful white marble, and walking up the grand steps feels powerful and meaningful.

Inside, seeing Abraham Lincoln seated in his iconic chair is unforgettable. The statue is so large and detailed that it almost feels alive, and it really captures the strength and wisdom of one of the most important presidents in American history.

Everywhere you look, there’s a perfect photo spot—from the steps to the breathtaking view of the Reflecting Pool. The entire area is full of history and emotion, making it much more than just a place to take pictures.

What also stood out was the atmosphere. The visitors there were kind, respectful, and happy to help each other take photos, which made the experience even more special.

Overall, the Lincoln Memorial is not only beautiful but deeply meaningful. It’s a place where history, architecture, and emotion come together. I highly recommend visiting—it’s truly a must-see in Washington, DC!

Been here a few times. Its an amazing place to visit. A great honor to one of our nations heros and saviors. You can feel the importance just approaching the memorial. Unfortunately, the reflection pool was empty for renovations for the 250 celebration but still an amazing site.

We were able to take all the photos we wanted without feeling rushed, and the space—especially the steps and the view toward the Reflecting Pool—offers incredible angles.
