We pick the Milkhouse Ford to hike because its the easiest and the shortest. It’s relaxing and very chill. The weather is perfect when we hike not too hot not too cold.
It’s an hour hike in our pace because we have our baby with us.

This is one of my favorite places in the Washington DC area. ALWAYS a delight to walk anywhere on this long, lovely trail, and nearly every day I'm blessed to experience the wonders of the many animals living here!

This Place was amazing. My class was lucky enough to have a field trip here. Our park ranger was the greatest time and i surely had a blast. Beautiful sights were seen and great pictures were taken. Park Ranger had answers to every time i asked a question, she was very nice and very helpful. I want to thank the park for allowing us to come here. I had a blast and definitely will be returning. 5 stars for sure.

Rock Creek Park is a place for reflection and contemplation. It's our Central Park...or Grant Park. I've always tried to explain to others that parks and ones proximity to them are at a premium in urban areas...and are never to be taken for granted.

Rock Creek Park is exceptionally vast in its footprint. You can do what you need to do without the prying eyes of the wanderers. Let the forest lead you. I never move through it without observing it, emersing myself in its purity.

It is sublime.

And it is yours.

Perfect place to do your walking for health if you’ve been cooped up indoors due to the snowstorm as well as see a forest winter wonderland, again after a snowstorm. In the heart of urban downtown cities, NYC may have its Central Park that’s designed with finesse while DC has its Rock Creek Park that’s just as beautiful but wilder.
