I've been coming here ever since I was a kid so when I'm able to make it home this is always one of my top stops! The seafood is fresh and the prices are unbeatable! It's kind of sad that it's smaller than it used to be, but the long lines still moved quickly. Don't forget to tip the people steaming your fish or shucking your oysters! We want to be able to keep this going!
FYI, the bathrooms are under the stairs past Rappahanock Oysters, across from the food truck (if it's still there). You'll need to wash your hands if you're eating shrimp/crab legs. Photos at the end so you know what to look for.

You can't beat the experience of being in this charming little open air seafood market which steams and seasons your selections for you. They also shuck oysters and have many options for fish, shellfish, and more. Also there are plenty of walkable places to drink and dine more, nearby.
Clutch move: order for take-home.

One of the best places to buy Maryland jumbo blue crabs, oysters, fish. It’s pricey but you can have a good seafood for you and your family. You can bring them home or they can cook right away for a small fee. If you have a taste for seafood then this is a place. Park right next to seafood place are very expensive, for a few steps walking park your car in the basement of big restaurants will save you at least à half price.
