Always love visiting here! I’ve gone on the rafting trip several times. The guides are fun, knowledgeable, and focused on ensuring a great and safe trip. Just recently camped here for the third time. The sites are well maintained. The views of the river are just phenomenal. Awesome to sit by the campfire and watch the tubers and rafters come in. Navigating the entry hill can be a bit tricky but completely doable. There was quite a bit of poison ivy near the campsite, but not an issue because totally expected when in nature - just a note for future campers to be mindful. :) The bathhouse is genuinely the cleanest bathhouse I have ever experienced camping. Staff has always been kind and super helpful. Thanks for another great trip. Highly recommend and will be back!

Overall, we had a great experience. Scott checked us in quickly and was pleasant to talk with. We were lucky enough to have the mountaintop camping site to ourselves since no one else booked for this week( likely due to the extreme heat and 4th of July holiday). The bathhouse was clean and had hot water. Most campsites only have lukewarm or cold water. There were also an abundance of toilet facilities and they were well maintained/cleaned. The view of the Potomac was breathtaking and the only downfall was that the camping sites are relatively close to each other both on the mountain and at the river's edge. I do recommend this center, however, and we will likely return when back in the area!

We had such a great time white water tubing! The river was the perfect mix of relaxing floats and exciting rapids, making it fun for everyone in our group. The staff was friendly, organized, and made sure we felt safe before heading out. The scenery was beautiful, and the water was refreshing on a hot day. It was the perfect outdoor adventure, and we’d definitely do it again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun way to spend the day!

This whole rafting experience was great! The river is beautiful and the guides are organized and skilled. I rafted with my kids who are new to white water. The instruction was good and the kids loved every moment!
The adventure center provides a number of different experiences that are great for families with a range of physical abilities. Encourage anyone to talk with the main office to discuss what type of activities would work for the needs of their specific group.

What a fun experience!! The Harper’s Ferry Adventure Center is a great place to go to explore WV and be a little adventurous. We booked the flat water tubing and zip-lining, both with morning time slots (highly recommend). The staff were kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area and the activity. The tubing experience was very relaxing. The water was refreshing and smooth. We rented a cooler tube as well, which I recommend for coolers, dry bags, and/or water bottles. The zip line guides were so incredibly nice and helpful and made us feel safe and relaxed, despite a mild fear of heights and our first time zip-lining with our 12 year old. The property is clean and the brewery was an amazing touch to our Father’s Day. The views are incredible, as well, no matter where you turn! I highly recommend Harper’s Ferry Adventure Center for your next trip to WV!
