Highly recommend this hike for anyone. It was moderately challenging, but very doable. The views at the lookout were work the climb! It took under an hour to walk up and down which was a nice amount. Very easy to stay on the trail and signage is easy to spot when passing through. Highly active area, so come early for good parking!

Great local hike! Free parking right at the base of the trail and about a 30-minute hike (one way). The trail is well-maintained with a steady incline and a few steep sections, but overall it's fairly easy. The overlook offers great views of the Potomac River and surrounding mountains.

One of my favorite hiking trails. It's a straight incline the whole way up, but if you take your time it's doable for most age groups. I took my kids up for the first time and they rocked it.
Offers great views of the river and Harper's Ferry in the distance.

Such a great hike! It was under a mile up and moderate but short. It took us 30 minutes to get to the top and wow the view was so worth it!! We came on a Friday morning and only saw 3 or 4 other people on the trail and the parking lot was almost empty

This was a great, short little hike, perfect for a morning adventure and always fun to be on a section of the AT and feel more connected to the bigger circuit. Not very challenging and we'll marked, with the reward of a fabulous view at the top.
