The only good thing about this hotel, is that it's in the middle of Cumberland. A lot of things are in a walking distance.
The room that we got? They said on their website, their expedia ad, and this here in google if you look them up, it would say "smoke free property" or "non-smoking room" if only we could take a picture of how a room smells, I would only have one picture, because the ENTITE ROOM smelled soooooooooooo bad. I mean, it smelled like it had not been cleaned for months, it had a strong cigarette smoking smell, the kind that would have had to been there for months you cant get rid of it because its everywhere. The bathroom looked clean but it wasnt. The tissue holder had some sort of dirt splatter on it, the curtains in the shower had mold. The floor looked like it didnt get vacuumed. There were crumbs or particles on the sofa. I couldn't even imagine sleeping in that bed. We left. It was a waste of money. A waste of our time. You are better off staying in at the Holiday Inn for an exta hundred dollars than to get sick after a night of sleeping in one of their rooms. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED. I AM PISSED. My throat hurt so much after leaving being in that room for just a few minutes.
A note to the property.
I am not saying this is how it is for every Ramada by Wyndham hotels, but for this specific one. Close down half the side of that hotel. Put some money into hiring better staff that are professional. Renovate those rooms.

Stayed here for one night and would come back. Rooms were clean, felt safe, and the location is good — walkable to the C&O Canal trailhead and downtown. The place is older and you can tell, but it’s clear they’re putting in the effort to keep things up and clean. Nothing fancy, but everything you need was there and worked fine. Good value for Cumberland. Don’t let the mixed reviews scare you off, we had a solid, no-complaints stay.

My family was passing through this area and stayed for one night. I would have rather slept in my car. Luckily the beds were clean. The floor of our room was not clean though. By the time you walked across the room once, your feet would be covered in dirt. By the end of the evening our feet were black from the dirty floor. I laid out our shower towels and anything we could step on to get across the room. When we arrived, our room door was also open? We found that odd, but inspected the area to make sure it was safe and clean. The showers looked like they haven't been updated since the 90's. The tub had cracks and different colors to it where it has worn down. The shower head was even cracked and had that crusty, grimmy debris around it where the water comes out and out of the connections to the tub walls. The bathroom sink was just as dirty. If you have any decency for you and your family, spend the extra money to stay anywhere else. Trust me.

So many things wrong with this place...after days of 90 degree outside temps, the entire public spaces had no air conditioning, was miserable. Try eating breakfast when it is 85 degrees in the space. One elevator working, and from what we heard, it has been that way for a year. A check in TV kiosk, which was hard to understand the person and delayed checking, we arrived as a group and I stood in the hot lobby for more than 40 minutes. Once in the room, it was 88 degrees. Turned on the a/c and waited hours before it cooled down, and the unit itself was so loud, hard to keep asleep. Oh!, and if you are on the east side of the building, prepare for trains around the clock. Even though a non smoking building, all spaces and room was musty and smelled bad. Would not stay here again. Too many options for lodging which are way better.

Within walking distance to food and shopping, front desk checked us in a little early, which was fantastic, because we had been flying that morning and then drove from Baltimore. I was not looking forward to sitting in my car for more than 2 hours. Room is clean and comfortable.
