Very disappointed with this restaurant. First time trying the Fish Market. I didnt dine in, I order for pickup on my lunch break. I have to say while I was there to pick up my food the place was too dark inside the restaurant. Being that I wasnt dining it, that wasnt my concern. My issue was the food itself. The only thing that was good was the hush puppies. I got the fried gulf shrimp and it tasted horrible. The presentation of the meal in the container was not to my liking. For $27.99 that I paid, i would gather the food would be more pleasant. I thought the fries would be inside the container along with my shrimp. No, instead it was inside a cup(giving five guys vibes) inside of a paperbag. With that being said, that will be my first and last time going to the Fish Market.

Been checking this place for a couple decades now every once in a while.

It offers nice old school sea food restaurant experience with classical dishes.

Fresh oysters and lobster bisque were great as usual.

Love the expansion to an outdoor patio up front. They got plenty of space with 2 floors, but seating outside in a middle of a spring in a beautiful weather is just what we wanted.

Love the waterfront area of Old Town, first time here. The food was decent overall. Was disappointed with the limited “sides” options to substitute if you did not want what they paired the food with. The calamari was not great like I was expecting! The salmon blt was pretty good. I highly recommend the spicy Cajun pasta! Absolutely delicious

They have a wide variety of seafood dishes. The restaurant is perfectly located right in the heart of Old Town. We had clam chowder (a bit salty but otherwise good - not pictured), the fried shrimp platter and the rainbow trout platter which were good. For the location the prices are very reasonable.

Very disappointed in the shrimp and grits. The shrimp was overcooked and small. They were spread around the plate of grits with the gravy spread in the middle. There was an off flavor that was overpowering like Worcestershire sauce in the gravy. And for almost $30, I expected the shrimp to be jumbo. We started out at the bar for happy hour which was very good.
