We came here to get a bite to eat on the way to West Virginia. I look at this more as a historical landmark than a restaurant or cafe. The restaurant occupies an old church building. The atmosphere is fantastic- stained glass windows, antiques, and oldies music in the background. A musician was also playing. I only got a plain bagel and some cider. I wish they had more options on the menu for plain people like me, and I was told there is a lot of caffeine in the drinks. That being said, the uniqueness is what caught me by surprise. When you have an original restaurant like this, it just stands out. The prices were relatively cheap. For a bagel and cider, I paid less than $10.

29SEPT.2025 Nestled back off of a semi-beaten path, not too far from the C & O canal in a little town of Brunswick, MD is a truly authentic, quaint(ish) coffee shop that at one point in life served as a church. Lovely stained glass windows and the centuries old architecture is beautiful.

The vibe is welcoming and charming at the same time. The breakfast croissant 🥐 sandwich I had was yummy. So light and airy. My hot chai latte w/lavender ☕️ was delicious.

There are a couple of spot to sit downstairs, or upstairs to enjoy the music being played, study, enjoy your coffee, food, etc. The view from upstairs is nice. Customer service was so welcoming and friendly as the customers. A wonderful experience.

A great place to stop when you're in the area for coffee and a bite to eat. Draws remote workers, locals, and cyclists from the nearby rail trail. The mix of seating and ample space make for quiet conversations. On a recent visit we appreciated the extra effort to bring up a gluten free treat.

The biscuits were amazing with butter and jam (ask to sub out the gravy if you like!)

First of all, the decor is sublime! Eclectic, antique store and grandma’s attic all rolled into one repurposed church turned eatery. Come for the atmosphere and stay for the food. Simply scrumptious! We had the turkey with cranberry sauce panini. Delish! No doubt their other offerings were equally delectable. We will be back!

I grew up in Brunswick and haven’t been to this place in like 15 years. Back then I didn’t really like it and they didn’t have many items on their menu. But that has all changed now! The vanilla iced latte and BLT was so good! I loved that they still had the seating high up overlooking the whole main sitting area!
