All we did was launch our kayaks here, but, if early there is ample parking, and a nice launch area.

Cute little park along the water. Great place to take some fall foliage pics. Kids playground, picnic area and some walking trails are also available.

Small local park, and a lovely spot to sit and watch the river flow by. A little hard to access that spot but that’s nature for you.

This is one of the best access points on the Monocacy River for wade fishing. This area of the river has a healthy Smallmouth Bass population due to excellent structure, and gradient flow. The park is county maintained with paved parking, restrooms, picnic areas, and a concrete boat launch with steps providing easy access to and from the river.

Been here multiple times over the years to paddle the Monocacy. Really like the improvements they've made over the years particularly the new boat ramp! It's steep and the stairs are narrow but the ramp to haul up your boat was nice. Definitely beats walking over the broken concrete and avoiding the poison ivy of the past! They were replacing the 6x6s around the lot while we were they so we parked along the ample shoulders of the road.
