As a novice biker, the Anacostia Bike Trail is clean, very scenic and calming and lots of history can be obtained along the ride. I ride the trail at least two times a week and the most challenging is the small heels that over time I'm able to ride up them instead of dismounting and walking up 😅.

Would be a great place if not for the pollution. Actually bumped into some people visiting from out of town that were disgusted by the condition of the park. The ramp was full of driftwood and trash. Super sad to see this place like this.

I love this park. I live close-by. This was my first time trying the ramp. One star unfortunately due to it being filled with trash and large tree parts. I moved some trees and dragged my small boat over the deep trash and debris but felt unsafe climbing around that stuff. Another small boat skipped the ramp and went off the side wall while I was there. It's fine for kayaks and anything small enough to drop in off the dock

Nice little jetty and boat ramp near Anacostia park. There were a few logs and tree branches in the water. But it seemed better than what other boaters came across.
The jetty seems to be a good place for people to fish. And people just sit around and enjoy the surroundings.
Hope people can leave the area clean. Would be a good place to meetup here for volunteer trash pickup.

This is an absolute disgrace for our nation's capital in 2021 to have this much pollution. A community park is right along this area of the Anacostia. Small children just wanting to fish are unable to do so. Did the Mayor forgot about this section of the city? Shame on her and shame on our federal government in which the EPA headquarters is just a mile away.
