Dan is a living legend. The place is super clean, comfortable and homey and Dan cooked a huge breakfast which tasted amazing and helped me get down the trail that morning. He also has essentially every snack or food you could want as a cyclist. Did my laundry here too. Also had the pleasure of getting to know Dan and what a guy he is - his passion and dedication to helping others is inspirational. Dream stop, would highly highly recommend!

Dan is the man!!! He is a steward of the C and O trail.. He gave me critical information for my ride east. He also knows the history of the Gap and C&O trail. He is very hospitable. I would strongly recommend.

I stayed here in 2018, traveling solo toward. I called ahead, and Dan rode up the trail to meet me. The accomodations are not fancy, but very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, and I had the satisfaction of staying at a very homey place.

This was a great B&B. Dan is super knowledgeable about the history and wildlife in the area, and a great host. He saved our trip after a very wet camping experience on the C&O.

I stayed at Dan's B&B recently and cannot speak highly enough about my experience. Dan's knowledge of the trail network and biking in general was immense and invaluable; I was grateful that he provided excellent recommendations for places to stop along the rest of the trail to make sure I would have enough food. I enjoyed our conversations, breakfast was amazing, and I greatly appreciated the chance to do laundry midway through my journey!
