Such a fun experience! My husband and I went out for a date and boy it was a ton of fun. We would go again and again. Great location and easy process to get on the water.

If I could, I’d rate Boating in DC, specifically their Thompson Boat, not just 10/10 but 12/10! In fact, I’d even give it 20/10, but alas, the scale is limited.
On the evening of July 21, we took a double kayak, and it was like floating on clouds, only with water and lots of fun adventures. The girl at the reception was simply outstanding—like an angel descended from heaven to make our day better. She was so sweet and kind that I almost believed her superpower was spreading goodwill and joy. She deserves not just all the money in the world but a ton of compliments!
And let’s not forget the guys who help you get into the boat and provide the instructions. These people are true professionals. If there were a contest for the best kayaking instructions, they would win it easily without breaking a sweat!
The views of the Lincoln Memorial? They are worth the entire cost of the trip! Floating on the water and admiring this majestic monument adds a bonus to an already fantastic adventure.
Moreover, the smiling faces of people in nearby boats who greet you and simply have fun add a special charm. It’s like a big water festival of friendship and joy!
So, if you’re looking for great vibes and water adventures, Boating in DC is the place to go. I’m sure you’ll also want to rate it beyond the scale. Thanks for the unforgettable experience and amazing memories!

The spot was very close to my hotel in foggy bottom. It's very easy to find. There are lots of water sports options. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It is a veryaffordable fun place to visit. You can easily boat into the city or go up River to the Georgetown area. The views are best at sunset and sunrise.

Great place to rent kayaks or canoes per hour. It’s a nice ride along Georgetown waterfront and Rosevelt island. Family and fiends who visit DC always enjoy this treat weather permitting. They have reasonable prices, lockers and bathrooms. No need to bring your own lock. They also rent bikes.

We rented 2 canoes on Easter afternoon and had THE BEST time! The location is fantastic. We only had enough time to paddle around Roosevelt Island and back but got plenty of great views of the monuments and wildlife.
I can't recall if the guy in the dock was named Chris or Joseph but he was great getting us settled, and the gentleman who checked us in was friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable too.
Can't wait to do this again!
