20240420 Can't believe I have been here in 6 years. I hiked the trail today, and it was a real nice hike along the Potomac River. Spotted a snake in the base of the tree. Might want to keep your kids and pets on the trail.

Loved hitting these trails! 🥾 The easy access to water for fishing was a blast—perfect for casting a line and chilling. Plenty of shaded spots gave us a great break from the sun, and the boardwalk sections were a cool touch. 🌳 Everyone we met was super friendly, adding to the relaxed vibe. The trails are simple and welcoming for all, making it a breeze to explore solo or with friends. Birdwatching here is awesome—spotted some gorgeous ones flitting around! 🐦 It’s the ideal spot for a laid-back walk, fishing, or just hanging out and enjoying nature. Highly recommend this gem for a fun, easy day with pals! 😊

Nice place for a walk to the riverfront. It's about 1/4 mile from the parking lot through the golf course to get to the river. If you want to bring a watercraft such as a kayak, you'll need to carry it through. There's a paved path most of the way and I did not see any launch site for boats. It's fairly rocky at the shore.

Very nice trails easy access to water for fishing, lots of nice shaded areas through out for break from the sun. Nice board walk sections, friendly people on the trails. Easy trails for all.
