Decently clean station with a coffee shop and bathroom but crazy murdery vibe. If you are a woman traveling alone I would not recommend getting off at this station alone. I was coming up from the Bronx and the most scared I have ever felt on public transport was at this station. It’s just a murdery vibe, millions of signs warning about human trafficking (like those jersey rest-stops no one uses) and then just woods for miles. Such an eerie vibe.

I regularly drop someone off at the Croton-Harmon train station. It’s conveniently located right off Route 9A, making it incredibly easy to get in and out of the parking lot without dealing with heavy crowds

Smart alternative to access the city. Get a train at this station and take it into Grand Central. Then you're walking distance to all the theaters of Broadway and Times Square as well as the great Art Museums.

Decent train station, terrible parking enforcement. Was written a parking citation for an out of date inspection. Village of Croton does not have a code for such a citation and was instead written a ticket for their code 215.30 E section, idling of motor vehicles. Can’t fight it due to living too far away. Just a money grab, do better.
