There are two parts, one near the Tarrytown train station with walking trail (A) heading north while another near i287 entrance with walking trail (B) heading south. Both are wonderful yet difference. Trail A is more open air and closer to the Hudson on one side with condos on the other side. Trail B is more tree covered and secluded. My family and I love them both. Both trails are well maintained and safe. This is our second time visiting both areas and the second time was as good as the first if not better, so love them.

Beautiful walk right next to the waters with picturesque hillside and bridge! We arrived on a Sunday to visit - And just to be sure, I checked with the recreation center about parking. I was told that the parking lot in front of the recreation center is ENFORCED and is for residents and people with permits. And even though it is Sunday, “they have been more strict lately”. To be on the safe side, park in PARKING LOT D where there are numbered parking spots. See pics.

PS. As we were pulling out, we saw parking enforcement giving out tickets on a Sunday!

Perfect location to enjoy beautiful weather and relax. The sunset is always gorgeous at this location. I will say there's a ton of geese poop on the grounds. I guess since they're always around humans. They do not attack. They fly or walk right by you. An overall beautiful and peaceful park.

Beautiful and spacious walking path. Gorgeous views of the river and the bridge. A must do when in the area!

Unfortunately, during our visit here (Indigeneous Day weekend) the weather was crappy, the view was covered in fog and it wasn't a good day for walking. It rained heavy all day. I must say, that open view of the Tappan Zee Bridge is gorgeous 😍. Ill give you more details upon my return. I noted plenty of outdoor festivals were canceled, due to the weather. Apparently, there are generally a lot of festivities that takes place in the surrounding area during this time of year. Beautiful area to escape to for a few days, and just an hour away from NYC.
