Beautiful walk with far reaching views. 212 ft above the water! The town is fun to explore on foot, a nice change from wandering in a car. The impressive large US post office on the east side of the bridge is registered as a historic building and has huge murals and bronze and marble all over the inside. Really amazing and you can of course wander in for free, or buy some stamps in a building that looks like a museum.

A photographer's dream! The Walkway Over the Hudson is beautifully maintained and well worth the drive. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcomed — the little gift shop at the entrance is a sweet touch, and it's nice knowing someone's looking out for you.

Parking was a breeze, and I appreciated that they let you know ahead of time which app to download before you visit — very helpful for first-timers. The walkway is well-traveled with plenty of people around, which gives it a great energy.

My son and I both had a wonderful time. Absolutely worth the trip!

We walked it on a gorgeous morning from end to end. We stopped to use the binoculars and could see so much. It was a nice surprise to have the team catch up with us and take us part of the way. The driver was lovely.

Definitely worth a visit. Beautiful views of the river, the shores, the bluffs. It's fun to watch the big barges pass underneath the bridge and look at what they are carrying! And the plaques on the bridge talk about some of the local and regional history, which is very interesting.
