The station is small but well-organized, and it’s only a few minutes’ walk to Main Street.
If you’re visiting for the first time, I recommend arriving early to explore the town before your return train. There’s usually parking available.
Amenities are limited. I didn’t see any public restrooms.

A nice train station, large parking space and nice atmosphere with a view of the water. Issue is mainly the smell in before at the waiting platform.

This place is a great train station! 🚉 Beacon Station is a super convenient spot from where you can grab a train🚆 to/from NYC! 🗽 It's super easy to board the train 🚃 on the designated track 🛤️ and use the MTA eTix app 📲 to buy a ticket 🎟️ using your mobile phone! 📱 Make sure to check for peak 👥 and off-peak 👤 prices! 🏷️ Right next to the station is a fantastic view 🪟 of the river 🌊 and wildlife! 🐦 I wish I came here more often!

We came to this Metro-North Station in order to visit the Día: Museum. The train station is comfortable and has a store where we got a bottle of water. I only saw one bench to sit while waiting for the train. It’s about a twenty-minute walk from Main Street. We walked the ramp in order not to go up the many stairs to the platform.

I rarely take Metro North, so I cannot compare this station to others to give a good comparison. I can say that it was clean and did the job! I only took off a star because it would be nice if there was a public restroom.
