The station is small but well-organized, and it’s only a few minutes’ walk to Main Street.
If you’re visiting for the first time, I recommend arriving early to explore the town before your return train. There’s usually parking available.
Amenities are limited. I didn’t see any public restrooms.

Although this is a train station it's more just a stop because there is no building here, just a platform. It would be nice if they had a building, even if it was small, if only for a public bathroom and water fountain. This stop is just a 5 minute walk from Main Street which is really nice and makes it ideal for day trippers taking the Metro North Rail.

Beacon is a city, though on a smaller and walkable scale. It is a community with a movie theater, restaurants, arts spaces (Howland Cultural Center), a library, and a good blend of people. A free bus serves the residents. Visit the Beacon Falls and the Dia Museum.

A nice train station, large parking space and nice atmosphere with a view of the water. Issue is mainly the smell in before at the waiting platform.

This place is a great train station! 🚉 Beacon Station is a super convenient spot from where you can grab a train🚆 to/from NYC! 🗽 It's super easy to board the train 🚃 on the designated track 🛤️ and use the MTA eTix app 📲 to buy a ticket 🎟️ using your mobile phone! 📱 Make sure to check for peak 👥 and off-peak 👤 prices! 🏷️ Right next to the station is a fantastic view 🪟 of the river 🌊 and wildlife! 🐦 I wish I came here more often!
