What a gorgeous spot. Amazing views and definitively well worth the drive. We came for the Kayaking and spent an amazing afternoon taking it all in. Be thing I don’t understand a why one needs a permit to enjoy the park

Great Hudson riverside park for its view. Parking permit or online payment required. Newly constructed (2023) restrooms. A dozen wooden tables and few grills. Great for train spotting along side park (freight) and directy across the Hudson (passenger). Not great for fishing as the water is fairly shallow a good ways out and rocky. Can easily become over-capacity on weekends and holidays. Do not park outside the designated parking spots. The train is wider than you think.

One of our favorite parks along the Hudson river. It is very well maintained but the geese can make it messy if you’re planning on walking on grass

Great park along the Hudson River that’s beautifully maintained, has a beautiful well kept grounds, a gazebo, tables, benches, and bonus you can fish! Beware the parking area does cost to park in and there is a minimum amount of hours whether you stay that amount of time or not so be prepared to drop $20 which you can pay via the ParkMobile app (add the zone number listed on the signs and follow prompts for payment).

Spectacular Hudson River Front view for Fall. The mountian on other side are renedered with bursting yellow! Great spot for lunch break during weekday! Hope township can lift the weekday parking permit requirement. Would understand the weekend crowd will limit the parking availability, but during weekday should welcome all.
