1st time visiting this NYs park, it's only $8 per car. They accept cash or credit, there's plenty of parking. You'll find plenty of picnic tables, they also have a few grills throughout so gwt there early if you want to grab one. Here youll find amazing views of the hudson river, westchester county and the tappan zee bridge. They have a carry-in carry out trash policy overall its a great park to come for the summer and spend with family and friends. It offers a great escape from the daily grind of the city life.

This is best place to have barbecue setup and a perfect picnic spot with great view. Place is well maintained can sight squirrels and deers arounds. Today we seen lot of acorns than usual, looks like a feat for squirrels🐿️

long path being detoured was weird since the path seemed fine? not sure why theyre detouring it to use paved roads instead. otherwise pleasant park to hike. parking isnt great; very tight and “two way roads” are terrifyingly narrow in some spots, especially CURVED no sight line mountain passes

We went hiking in the park and really enjoyed it! The trail was about 3 miles round trip from parking lot(1.5 miles each way), just the right length for a relaxing and comfortable walk in nature. The path was peaceful, the air fresh, and the views along the way were beautiful. A perfect way to spend time outdoors and get a little exercise without overdoing it. Would definitely do it again!

Pretty darn cool to be out from the city, I saw ppl fishing and actually catching something, not sure if you can safely eat the fish tho
