The Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge is an impressive and beautiful landmark that I truly appreciate every time I cross it. While I still miss the old Tappan Zee Bridge and the memories that came with it, this bridge has created its own special place over time. The views on both sides are absolutely stunning, offering incredible sights of the Hudson River and the surrounding landscape. Whether traveling during the day or at sunset, the scenery never gets old. At night, the colorful lights displayed along the bridge are especially striking and add a modern, vibrant touch that makes the crossing feel unique and memorable. It’s a bridge that blends history, progress, and beauty perfectly.

I tell everyone going through to take this bridge instead of hating life on the George Washington Bridge. Adding 10-15 minutes to the commute is so much better than sitting on the GWB for an hour, smashed in between 18 wheelers.
And the view is much better.
Just do it. You'll be glad you did.
