You can feel the dread going to the cemetery and memorial. Hard to believe that ever happened.

This was a great spot to stop off the expressway to see the Hudson River. There just happened to be a lot of tree bugs and full trash cans during our visit.

I recommend walking the mi long stretch of shops and nooks in Beacon as well!!

Such a dreamy park! We visited when it was almost time for sunset, and there was this beautiful mist hanging above the river and it just looked so gorgeous. There is a parking lot right outside and we easily got a spot. There are multiple paths around the park leading to different areas, all of them along the Hudson River. Overall the park is definitely worth a visit and it completed our memorable visit to the beautiful city of Beacon.

This place has nice river and bridge views, and gets awesome sunset vistas. It's just some walking trails and a place to hang out. It's adjacent to another park with some basketball courts and playground facilities and such. There's a short stretch in between them that's not park, but you can walk from one to the other relatively easily. I prefer this end. Drum circle Thursday nights. Lol.
